In addition, the Fujifilm FDR Smart X offers ceiling suspended x-ray tube configurations for use with the upright stand and table, providing flexible solutions for your imaging department. These Fujifilm FDR Smart X systems are compatible with Fujifilm’s D-EVO II series DR panels with their advanced features and high image quality. In addition, CR cassettes are compatible with the Fujifilm FDR Smart X.

The Fujifilm FDR Smart X with D-EVO II detectors feature the following leading-edge technologies.
Dynamic Visualization II for advanced image processing
Fujifilm’s renowned digital image processing expertise, including Dynamic Visualization, optimises image display based on recognition of contrast levels throughout the entire exposure field. The resulting first-up images have outstanding detail and greater window and levelling capability in PACS.
Patented ISS capture technology
The Fujifilm FDR Smart X is intended for use with FDR D-EVO II detectors featuring Fujifilm’s proprietary Irradiated Side Sampling (ISS) technology that positions its capture electronics (TFTs) at the irradiation side, in contrast to traditional detectors. This design significantly suppresses the scattering and attenuation of x-ray signals, improving efficiency in producing sharper images at lower doses than conventional designs.
Fujifilm FDR Smart X features
Ceiling suspended tube stand. The ceiling-mounted tube provides tracking with the upright stand and table detectors, improving workflow, throughput, and efficiency. In addition, this reduces the chance of motion artefacts due to fast exposure.
Manual or automatic tilting of the wall stand is available as an option. This improves workflow for the radiographers and an improved experience for patients in wheelchairs.
The removable grid on the table and upright stand allow flexible working in paediatrics and gridless examinations.
Dual-reference rotation is available in the Fujifilm FDR Smart X rotating tray, with an automatic connection to the detector. The detector can be rotated while mounted in the tray without removing and remounting, significantly reducing handling.
Automatic connection. The detector cable and connector are built into the tray, enabling the detectors to be automatically connected when set in the tray. This function dramatically improves efficiency and provides a clean look with no need to manage cabling. In addition, the automatic connection to the detector keeps the battery charged if wireless operation is required.
Automatic tracking through the tube head and bucky that move synchronised with each other, supporting positioning for exposure.
The detector console and X-ray controller of the Fujifilm FDR Smart X are integrated, displaying in the same monitor. As a result, setting the exposure condition and selecting the exposure menu can be done on the same PC, improving workflow.
Both DR panel and CR cassette can be used with the Fujifilm FDR Smart X.
